I help fantastic actors who feel stuck in their careers become better "business owners" while elevating their worthiness to feel deserving of success.
We protect who you are as a storyteller, and teach you how to become better at sales. You freakin' LOVE acting (otherwise you wouldn't be here still), but you don't deserve to suffer and it's not your fault no one ever taught you to view your career like you're operating a small business, because P.S. you are. So, it's not you - it's your strategy. And that's where I come in to help you shake sh*t up.
You know you're GREAT at your craft, but you feel like you don’t have anything to show for it with your current credits/career.
You’re stuck. You’ve tried everything and hustled your butt off - and have no idea what action to take next.
Self-doubt is creeping in. Disappointment is starting to take over. And you're wondering if this will ever happen for you...
You’ve taken every type of class and workshop…
Sent out 100s (1000s let's be real) of email submissions to representation…
Gotten new headshots for the umpteenth time…
Paid a coach to help you update your branding (and then hated it)…
You majorly owe your friends for all the self-tapes they’ve helped you with…
You’ve tried the abundance meditations…
And probably cried in your car (on multiple occasions).
I used to be schlepping myself all over Los Angeles from auditions, workshops, classes, and crappy networking coffee dates.
My bank account always edging dangerously close to zero (despite how many part-time jobs I had).
My email submissions attempting to get halfway decent representation going unanswered.
Paying “professionals” for unhelpful feedback that just fed their own ego and left me with nothing strategic or actionable to attempt (not to mention feeling disempowered AF).
And the only place I felt anyone knew I was a decent actor was in my acting class…
But nothing seemed to be working. I didn’t even feel like my efforts were getting me “one step forward and two steps back”, I literally just felt like I was moving backwards…
And I swear if one more person told me it was as simple as “just getting some new headshots!” I would’ve gotten an entire episode of Snapped dedicated to me.
And acting was only meant to feed my soul, not actually put food on my table.
I was burnt out. Fed the F up. And desperate for answers.
Cue having a breakdown in my car stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on the 405 in Los Angeles while subsequently needing to pee for the last 45 minutes.
Something needed to change (and oh boy change it did….)
Where there was room for storytelling (which I loved) and sales (which I detested).
I’ve created a space where fantastic actors redefine what success means to them and get a much-needed career refresh. We reframe their career to operate like a small business while protecting themselves as a performer.
All the while saying "F it" to things that disempower us, while taking the necessary uncomfortable and strategic actions.
I’m a certified coach and have been in the entertainment industry for over a decade.
I’ve done over 100+ voiceover jobs, booked national commercials, guest stars, and indie features. I’ve created my own projects that have gotten into film festivals. I’ve written TV pilots that were semi-finalists in writing competitions…
And I’ve never stopped growing, learning, and expanding my skillset and definition of who I am as an artist…. AND as a business owner steering the ship of my career.
Who doesn’t love hearing “Yep, it’s you.” and then getting a chance to get paid to do what you love?
When so often we hear, “Nope, going in a different direction.” Or just not hearing anything at all.
But all of this is 100% attainable for you too.
You are worthy of having the career you've dreamed of and loving the crap out of your life.
And I want to help you design a new strategy that empowers you to be the performer and professional you're desiring to become.
I’m an early bird (re: undiagnosed insomniac). But thankfully I LOVE mornings….
For those wondering… I’m an Aquarius, Enneagram 2w3, ENFJ, and Manifestor in Human Design.
Friday Night Lights is my fav tv show of all time. Followed by Schitt’s Creek and anything Shonda Rhimes creates.
I’m sports-obsessed. If I’m working, sports are on in the background. And I don’t discriminate… Football, Tennis, Horse Racing, Olympics Re-runs - I watch them all.
Your marketing materials are your number one sales tools and represent who you are as a storyteller. They need to shine with your strengths and stand out during submissions.
Let’s dig into your marketing materials, current branding, casting profiles, and online presence, while refining who you are as a storyteller. We'll refresh your brand and make sure your marketing materials showcase who you are as a storyteller while SELLING your strengths.
You’ll send me all of your marketing materials - headshots, reel material, resume, casting profiles, and website and I’ll send you a branding questionnaire to fill out.
We’ll discuss the initial impressions of your materials and what characters you’re currently selling, and see how aligned it is with the characters you want to (and should be) cast as. We’ll also look at your materials through the lens of a casting director and representation to help determine the effectiveness of your current sales tools.
We’ll create a “re-vamp” plan of what’s working, what isn’t serving you, and what you’re missing so you can better sell your strengths and have your materials stand out during submissions, and gain opportunities that excite you.
Your mindset is the #1 tool you have at your disposal.
You can be a phenomenal actor, but if your mindset is a mess, you won’t attract and achieve the success you deserve.
As a certified coach whose training is rooted in positive psychology, I've helped many actors get out of their own way and to start taking aligned action that's rooted in the desires they actually want. While helping them feel more empowered in their life and career.
We can analyze where self-doubt is creeping in, address mental roadblocks, confront analysis paralysis, tackle negative thoughts that are keeping you small and stuck, and start moving into a place of empowerment and worthiness.
Whether the topics are related to your career, creativity, or confidence - we hold space for it all.
Every actor's career is as unique as they are. No strategy is one size fits all and what worked for someone else may not work for you.
Here we'll focus on all things that are related to the business side of your career: representation, networking, creating opportunities for yourself, and creating your own content.
People can’t cast you if they don’t know who you are, so what strategies can we implement to help you put yourself out there without feeling gross or sales-y.
Are you interested in writing? Or producing content? Let’s chat about strategies to get your work off the ground and what it’s like to engage in a different creative process outside of just acting.
If you have rep, how’s your relationship? Is trust established, what are the lines of communication like, what types of opportunities do you receive, etc;
If you don’t have rep, what are your outreach strategies, and do we need to refresh your plan? What can you do on your own without representation to further your career? We spend SO much time focused on getting representation, and I understand having good rep is extremely helpful, but not all rep is good rep. And I believe having BAD rep is worse than ridin’ solo.
